Position: Telecommunication & Systems Supervisor
Location: Bergen, Norway

Duration: 2 years
We are looking for a Telecommunication & Systems Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Norway. The role is responsible for overseeing on-site telecommunication installations and ensuring compliance with project and safety standards, preferably with experience in road and tunnel infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure integration of communication systems with electrical and mechanical installations
Review and approve system designs, technical drawings, and specifications
Monitor the progress and quality of telecommunication installations, addressing technical challenges
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless system connectivity and integration
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Provide technical support during commissioning and testing phases
Participate in DABS meetings
Resolve technical issues to meet project milestones
Education:
Technical education or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in construction projects (roads, tunnels)
Proven experience managing telecommunication systems for large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of fiber optics, wireless networks, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret system designs and technical specifications
Experience ensuring system integration and functionality in line with project requirements
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards
Valid Category B driving license
Good command of English
