Sicim is currently looking for Quality Manager for our pipeline project based in Germany. The person should carry on the following activities:
- Manages QA/QC department
- Interface with Client representative for QA/QC Matter
- Coordinates QA/QC Engineers, officers, Coordinators, Inspectors at field.
- Cooperate with Procurement Department reviewing procured material ITP
- Cooperate in the follow up of the Material Inspection Activity with project Expeditors
- Ensures compliance with Client requirements both of the activities and of the QA/QC Mng system.
- Coordinates training on QA/QC issues and perform (or assign resource to perform) basic training as well.
- Produces/Develop documentation with regards of QA/QC in the SOW activities such as:
- Project Quality Plan / Objectives (with support/approval of Corporate Q mng)
- QA/QC procedures, Method Statement (QA/QC Part) and Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Develop Audit Plan – Survey the correct development of Welding activities by exercising control on the Project Welding Coordinator / Engineer Implement Corporate guidelines related Reporting and feed-back, Auditing and inspections
- Check the correct collection of record to achieve mechanical Collection and form QAQC part of the Project Final Dossier
The candidate should have: - A bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering (better if mechanic field) or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (10) years of project experience in the oil/gas industry.
- Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and able to develop, maintain and implement a QMS in accordance with that standard.
- Experience on pipeline construction
- Fluent in German and English
