Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
During the Games, the Results Technology Manager will handle the troubleshooting process of issues related to the Results services from the Technology Operation Center (TOC). In the lead-up to the Games, the RTM will plan the delivery of all Results services, coordinating with all relevant Functional Areas (FAs) to make sure that the requirements of the Results team are properly satisfied. The RTM will also participate from the TOC to Test Events (TEV) and Technology Rehearsals (TR1 and TR2), following che Calendar to the Games schedule of Milano Cortina 2026. The position might require working during weekends, bank holidays and in late evening shifts. During preparation for the Games the RTM will: •Receive training on the scope of the Results services •Receive training on the corporate tools •Receive training on the operational tools, specific to the role •Familiarize themselves with ORIS and PRIS documentation •Familiarize themselves with the requirements of the International Federations (IFs) •Familiarise themselves with the requirements of the service providers •Learn all processes, policies and procedures required to assist efficiently during operations. •Liaise with other FAs, IFs, partners and external organisations and to finalise the planning of Results Services
During Games Operations the RTM will: •Sit in the TOC and coordinate the troubleshooting of issues related to Results Services •Monitor results outputs and results applications and fault reporting •Communicate with and support the Sport Results Managers, who will be responsible for Results services at each competition venue •Liaise with Results partners and providers in the TOC. Requirements: • Speaks fluent English •Familiar with Results services at the Olympic and Paralympic Games •Familiar with winter sports •Basic IT background
