We are looking for a Data & Business Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to the business, supporting our Senior Managers and Operational Teams, providing impactful and insightful data to drive the service delivery to our clients
As Data & Business Analyst for IPRS PFAS you will help us make sense of the vast amount of data that exists within our business. Being an expert in knowing how to gather and evaluate data correctly, you can help to greatly influence the performance of our business.
Using your skills, you will lead the way in providing insightful dashboards and impactful reporting to our Clinical and Non-Clinical teams, automating, and streamlining processes and using Power BI to produce regular reporting, highlighting emerging trends, risks and opportunities for management decision making.
As Data & Business Analyst for PFAS, you will - Analyse, interpret and present data in engaging ways such that colleagues and clients can focus on trends and insights.
- Design and manage dashboards and performance trackers that allow senior leaders and managers to effectively manage business and team performance
- Support the production of returns to our client
- Assess internal and external MI to identify possible actions to support PFAS in meeting our contractual obligations Partner with the business to ensure that you are seen as the “go to” person for the management and reporting of data.
AD Hoc duties: - Complete all mandatory training requirements and carry out any additional duties appropriate to the role as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security by working in a suitable environment, using secure laptops and internet connections, and adhering to GDPR, Data Protection, and Information Security policies.
- Uphold high professional standards, behaviour, appearance, and attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues, both remotely and in person.
- Comply with all IPRS policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, while promoting organisational standards and best practices to colleagues.
Qualifications: - Educated to a minimum of Degree Level (or vocational equivalent) in a relevant numerical or analytical discipline
- Other professional Data Analytics qualification e.g. Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification.
Experience and Knowledge: - Experience in a Data or Business Intelligence analyst role
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills to interpret data Experience using Microsoft Software, Databases or Business Intelligence tools
- Experience of analysing / interpreting performance reports, statics, KPI’s and highlighting key trends
- Experience of collating, interpreting, and presenting data in a clear and concise manner to a range of audiences
Skills & Abilities: - Advanced skills with Excel, Power BI, Databases and / or other Business Intelligence tools. Ability to collate and produce statistics and report to the wider business and other partners on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working with large data sets, analysing, interpreting and presenting data in engaging ways. Has a process improvement mind set constantly looking to improve service delivery and meet contractual obligations.
- Ability to work within a team to achieve the best outcomes for the client and claimants. Self-starting and able to work in a proactive manner with minimal supervision, prioritising own workload.
- Ability to think critically, attention to detail with the ability to record information accurately. Effective communicator with both internal and external customers (verbally and in writing)
- Ability to manage time to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment. Demonstrates an understanding of both the business and the client’s needs.
- Comfortable working with large data sets, analysing, interpreting and presenting data in engaging ways
Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 Position: Full-time, permanent. Location: Remote. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
