We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Help Desk Expert for their HQ in Vipiteno (Bolzano) to join the IT support team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of IT systems, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service skills. The Senior Help Desk Expert will be responsible for leading our help desk team, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that our IT support services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and prioritize help desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of all reported issues.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve technical problems and improve support processes.
- Conduct regular assessments of help desk performance and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with end-users.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Proficienty in German is a plus.
