We are looking for a Sales Manager for the Italian branch of an established and ambitious international company providing high-quality engineering solutions to various industries within local and international markets.
They will report directly to the HQ based in another European country. Your focus will be the Italian market only.
All the interview processes and part of daily activities will be in English, so we are looking for someone who is fluent both in Italian and English.
Objective: You will be an experienced B2B Sales Manager with a strong esperience in the Italian Market providing solutions for single parts and series molds, modules and dies in plastic and metal. You will lead the Italian Sales team and oversee all commercial operations. You will be the point of contact between the Sales, Marketing and Technical Support Departments, and for the people in the team. You will have experience working within a technical/engineering company and a good knowlefge/estabilshed network in a variety of industry, such as mechanic, automotive, industrial automation and the like.
Tasks and responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies, maximizing sales opportunities and opening up new channels within new industries. Visit clients and provide technical advice to guide the sales process. Analyse customer/market needs and define the most effective sales solutions. Create a customer strategy that strengthens and widens customer relationships. Oversee the Sales team in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plan. Lead, direct, motivate and evaluate the team. Be the point of contact between the headquarter and the Italian branch and carry out the company’s strategies.
Engineering or other technical degree. Proven experience as sales manager for the Italian Market, within technical or engineering contexts, ideally in medium-size companies. Knowledge and experience in working with software to design and produce single parts and series of plastic/metal models, molds and dies. Established and demonstrable experience in sales, business development, marketing management and commercial strategy. Fluent in Italian. Must be fluent in English as well, for regular interactions with the Head Office. Other European languages are considered a plus.
Offer
Pay grade and salary: They will be commensurate with the actual competence and experience level of the candidate.
Working place: Near Turin. The role is office-based so we are looking for someone who lives or is willing to relocate to within a commutable distance of the company's site. There are regular travels to clients and occasional travels to the European headquarter.
Working hours: Full time. Some flexibility may be required.
Starting date: Immediate or according to candidate’s notice.
