Italdesign is looking for enthusiastic graduating and new graduated engineers passionate about automotive willing to join our IDENEERS Academy based at our location in Naples. It is a joint initiative between the Federico II University and Italdesign for training in automotive sector topics, specifically focusing on the Electrics & Electronics area.
Specifically, it is structured as a training program based on a theoretical-practical method that combines foundational courses, taught by university expert professors, with specialized courses, led by Italdesign specialists. The educational project will last for 3 months – from June 2026 to September 2026 (August excluded) - including face-to-face lessons, distance learning, group works, project works, and Italdesign presentation days to be held at Italdesign's operational sites.
You will have the chance to develop skills within some different areas related to Electric and Electronic field: - UX/UI
- Software development
- Connectivity (protocols and technologies, development of connected features))
- System platform and functions (operating systems, embedded systems and feature development)

Key requirements - Master's degree students or master's degree new graduates less than 2 years ago;
- Eligible to work full-time in Italy;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Passion and interest in Automotive Sector and in Electric/Electronic sector;
- Good team working skills;
- Good interpersonal and communicative skills;
- Good time management capability and proactivity;
- Ability to manage problems and propose solutions.
Preferential requirements - Knowledge of the automotive domain;
- Basic knowledge of processes and contents related to at least one of the following domains: Human-Machine Interaction Development / Components Development / Infotainment Development / Connectivity Development / Software Development;
- Basic knowledge of requirements management;
- Academic knowledge or short Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java or C++);
- Academic knowledge or short Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies;
- Understanding of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and software.
Additional Information Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunication and Digital Media, Electronics, Biomedical, Computer, Automation and Robotics, Transportation and Mobility, Autonomous Vehicle, Data Science). Language skills: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Italian. Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level). Workplace: Naples, Italy.
