Italdesign is looking for a dynamic person, who would be Responsible for the Concept development of new Series Vehicle or Concept Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Steering the convergence between different project functions like engineering, styling and production;
• Benchmarking analysis of competitor technical solution;
• Creation and updating of Typical section & preliminary Cad DATA taking in to account: performance (aerodynamic, Crash, weight performance, package, ergonomics) and law requirement (According market);
• Track and solve issues through various phases and travel to customer sites to agreed Project content.

Key requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Concept at OEM;
• Experience on concept phase process and milestone;
• Knowledge of Design convergence process;
• Knowledge about material and technologies used for Body and Platform development for mass production and low volume series;
• Knowledge about: Vehicle Performance (Aerodynamics, Crash, Weight performance) and Homologation requirement (ECE/USA and China);
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5;
• Sense of responsibility and integrity;
• Problem solving and decision making.

Preferential requirements

• Experience in Project management: timing plan, resource planning, and risk management;
• Experience in managing high level of interfunctional development and reporting to senior management;
• Attitude to work with OEM PLM;
• Ability to work in team and Public Speaking;
• Technical presentation and goal-oriented;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001;
• Knowledge of Office package.

Additional Information

Education; Master’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent studies.

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
